  • Powerful Headline. The headline is the most important part of your capture page as it will determine whether or not prospects will stay on your page and keep reading.
  • Bullet points with benefits. “What’s in it for ME?” This is precisely what runs through your prospects’ minds when they hit your page for the first time.  You need to clearly state the benefits your free gift or product provides readers. Lay out the reasons why opting in will make their lives better. Show them how your product is unique and why they need to take action NOW.
  • Opt in form. This is the actual form where readers will type in name and email information. Opt in forms are easily created using any email auto responder service.
  • Call to action. You need to remind your readers what they should do. Often, when readers are sold on opting in, they get distracted and forget what to do. It is vital that you remind them to opt in with strong reassurance and an effective call to action.
The idea behind the capture page is to capture your visitors’ contact information so that they can become more than just a visitor – a lead. A “lead” is a potential customer that is interested in your product or service.
